Loop Fit Privacy Policy

1. Scope and important information

This policy applies to the Loop Fit app and related services provided at bobifit.com. Loop Fit is intended only for users aged 14 or older. Users under 18 should use it only after their guardian has read and agreed to this policy. Children under 14 must not register or use the service. Body measurements, health data and workout data may constitute sensitive personal information; please pay particular attention to the relevant sections.

2. Information we collect

Account information: email address, phone number, hashes of login credentials, and the account identifiers necessary for Sign in with Apple or WeChat login. Profile information: nickname, profile photo, sex, date of birth, height, weight, body fat percentage, activity level and fitness goals. Food and workouts: nutrition targets, food and water records, workout plans and records, exercise weights and repetitions, workout duration, and food, nutrition label and physique photos you choose to upload. Purchase information: product, transaction and subscription status identifiers returned by Apple. We do not obtain your bank card details, Apple ID password or complete payment credentials. Device and security information: IP address, request time, operating system and app versions, and error and security logs. We do not request your contacts, text messages or information unrelated to the app’s core features.

3. Device permissions

The camera is used to scan barcodes and take food and physique photos. Photo access is used to select images you choose to upload. Notification permission is used for workout, rest, water and food reminders. Apple Health permissions are used to read the weight, body fat, sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, heart rate and workout data you authorize, and to write completed workouts to Apple Health. Declining nonessential permissions does not affect other basic features. You can revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Purposes of use

We use information only to create and maintain accounts, save and sync your records, calculate nutrition suggestions, display body trends and recovery status, provide workout integration, process AI analysis you request, display and review community foods, recipes and workout programs, and protect accounts, services and data. We do not sell personal information or use Apple Health data for advertising.

5. On-device and cloud storage

Some food, body and workout records are initially stored on your device. Data needed for PRO cloud backup, food/recipe/program uploads, account features or AI features is sent to Loop Fit servers. Our primary servers and object storage are currently in mainland China, using Alibaba Cloud’s Hangzhou region and private OSS storage for images you choose to upload. Physique photos uploaded by PRO or lifetime members remain available to that account to view, restore or delete after membership expires, but new cloud backups are not added during the expired period. Sync resumes automatically when membership is restored. Loop Fit does not use its own CloudKit implementation to store Apple Health data or other personal health information in iCloud. iOS system-level device backups are managed independently under your Apple settings and Apple’s rules.

6. AI processing

Only when you choose AI food logging or an AI daily meal plan are the relevant text, images, nutrition targets and recent food records necessary for recommendations sent to Loop Fit servers and forwarded to SiliconFlow’s model service. Original AI inputs are not used for advertising profiles. See the AI Data Processing Notice for the scope, retention practices and limitations. The server records daily usage counts and necessary security errors. It does not currently deliberately store original prompts or images long-term in the business database. AI results may contain errors and should be checked before use.

7. Public content

Food entries, recipes, workout programs, brand names, notes and related images that you choose to publish may be searchable and viewable by other users. Only recipes and programs created by yearly or lifetime members are publicly uploaded under the product rules; foods created by users are searchable by other users under the existing product rules. Please do not upload images containing unrelated personal information such as your or another person’s face, address, phone number or order number.

8. Sharing and entrusted processing

To provide login, storage, payments, health sync and AI features, we may share the minimum necessary information with Apple, the WeChat Open Platform, SMS service providers, Alibaba Cloud and SiliconFlow. We require entrusted processors to apply safeguards no less protective than those required by this policy and applicable law. We do not disclose personal information to other third parties except with separate consent, as required by law, or in legally permitted circumstances such as corporate restructuring. 9. Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account exists. Uploaded content is retained until you delete it or delete your account. Security logs are retained only for a reasonable period needed for security and compliance. You can request deletion in “Me → Account & Privacy → Delete Account.” After account deletion, the account and associated data are deleted from the primary service. Information that must be retained by law is stored separately and no longer used for other purposes. Remaining backup data is deleted within a maximum of 14 daily backup rotation cycles. Deleting your Loop Fit account does not automatically cancel an Apple auto-renewable subscription; you must cancel it separately through Apple’s subscription management page.

10. Your rights

You can access, correct and delete most profile information and records in the app, revoke system permissions, sign out or delete your account. Requests to access, copy, correct, restrict processing of or delete information, or to withdraw consent, that you cannot complete yourself can be sent to privacy@bobifit.com. After verifying your identity, we will handle your request or explain the reason within 15 business days. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully completed before withdrawal.

11. Security safeguards

We use reasonable measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, password hashing, least-privilege permissions, log auditing, signed image access and backups to protect data. No internet service is completely secure. If a security incident may affect your rights or interests, we will take remedial action and provide notifications or reports as required by law.

12. Policy updates and contact

If a material change concerns processing purposes, sensitive information, recipients or your rights, we will notify you again through an in-app dialog, page notice or another prominent means, and obtain renewed consent where necessary.
